Former Viking Braden Moody is a force on the field and in the classroom

Vicksburg native Braden Moody continues to succeed both on the football field and in his academics at University of South Alabama.

Moody recently earned a bachelor of science in computer engineering in the spring. Moody is also a mover and shaker on the Jaguar football team, gaining a starting spot before the end of the 2020 season in spite of sustaining injuries twice in his collegiate career.

Through balance, hard work and sheer dedication, Moody is putting his best foot forward in all of his endeavors at USA studies and football career is what keeps him on top of his game and academics.

Moody plans to continue post-graduate studies and earn a master’s degree as well as get in a few more seasons with the Jags to further his football career.

Moody is a former Warren Central High School standout who played under head coach Josh Morgan.  VDN will continue to bring you coverage on Moody’s achievements as he strives to perform at the top of his game and the top of his class.
