Former Viking Jabari Bowman instrumental in Jones CC victory Monday

Former Warren Central High basketball player Jabari Bowman led Jones Community College to a 74-54 win over Meridian CC on Monday.

Bowman scored 11 points in the big win for the Bobcats, who are running a 5-4 record this season. He also had six rebounds and one assist in the match.

Bowman is currently a freshman at Jones CC and a 2020 graduate of Warren Central where he played under head coach Bruce Robinson and averaged 18.0 points per game. He was also selected as the 2020 Vicksburg Daily News Player of the Year.

Bowman and the Bobcats will take on Copiah-Lincoln CC on Monday.
