Former Warren Central quarterback signs with Mississippi Valley State

Former Warren Central High standout football player Fred Barnum Jr. has signed with Mississippi Valley State University.

Barnum has played quarterback at Jones Community College for the past two seasons, leading them to a 7-3 record in the 2019 season.

“I chose Mississippi Valley because I felt right at home,” he said.

In 2017, Barnum led Warren Central to a 9-4 record when he started at quarterback. Barnum finished the 2017 season  with 10 passing touchdowns and 620 yards rushing.
