Former WC athletes Thurman and Reed got home runs for Hinds CC last week
Vicksburg natives Clayton Thurman and Vantrel Reed each got home runs for Hinds Community College last week.

In the 14-5 win over East Mississippi CC, Thurman collected four RBIs and went 3 for 5 at the plate. Reed went 2 for 4 at the plate with two RBIs.
Both Reed and Thurman are graduates of Warren Central High School and will play again on Thursday against Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
