Former WC baseball star Shane Lewis announces transfer from MSU
Former Warren Central High School baseball star Shane Lewis announced plans to transfer from Mississippi State University to Chipola College in Marianna, Florida.
Lewis posted the announcement on social media Thursday, thanking the team he is leaving behind at Mississippi State and looking forward to his future as a Chipola Indian.

Lewis played right fielder for the Bulldogs for most of this season before deciding to transfer to Chipola. Lewis played for the Warren Central Vikings throughout high school, although his senior season was interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
