Former WC basketball star Amber Gaston scored big for Florida Atlantic

Former Warren Central High School girls basketball player Amber Gaston excelled in her last basketball game for Florida Atlantic University.

Gaston scored 14 points against Florida Memorial University in a 104-73 victory for FAU Dec. 18. She also had two rebounds and one block in the match.

Gaston performed great in the game and was only in for a total of 14 minutes when she showed her true talents, just as she used to as a Viking.

Gaston is a former Dandy Dozen at Warren Central under former coach Jacqueline Glass, and she led her team in points in 2018.

Gaston and FAU will be back on the court Jan. 8 against Old Dominion.
