Former WC soccer players Smith and Stockstill helped Holmes to a win on Friday

Two former Warren Central High School soccer players, Laney Smith and Layken Stockstill, helped Holmes Community College to a 2-1 win over Allen County Community College on Friday.

Smith scored the second goal of the game with an assist by Cariele Ellis to help win the game for the Bulldogs. She is currently in her sophomore playing Forward for HCC.

Stockstill, goalkeeper, played in the final 45 minutes of the match and managed to rack up two saves for her team as they walked away with a big win.

Holmes CC will face St. Louis Community College on Sunday.
