Warren Central High School seniors Chis Winston, Malik Sims, Austin Johnson and Demond Patton all made their college choices official this morning in the Warren Central library.

Sims, Winston, and Patton chose to play football at Hinds Community College where they will remain teammates. All three made a huge impact at Warren Central over the last few years by making it to the postseason each year.

Patton played wide receiver for the Vikings where he started for the past three years and was recently name Vicksburg Daily News Player of the Year.

Sims was recently named to the Vicksburg Daily News all-county defensive team after finishing his senior year with 88 tackles.

Winston has been a very effective player on both sides of the ball for the Vikings as was selected to play in the Mississippi-Alabama All Star game.

Austin Johnson, the team manager, has chosen Holmes Community College where he will be the team manager.

“I chose Holmes CC because they were the first to talk to me, and I want to remain close to the game,” Johnson said.

All four Vikings are excited to start their new college paths.
