Free comic book day at the public library on August 14

Vicksburg, Miss – Saturday, August 14th, is Free Comic Book Day at the Public Library!

Visit the Public Library to pick up your free comic books, courtesy of Diamond Comics Distributors. Comic books appropriate for children and teens will be available and feature popular cartoon characters, superheroes, sci-fi/fantasy characters and nonfiction narratives.

Please arrive between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Library staff will distribute the comics on a first come, first served basis.

Every year for 20 years, Free Comic Book Day has put millions of comic books in the hands of comic aficionados. WCVPL is proud to be a participant for the first time.
