Free COVID-19 rapid tests available from government starting Jan. 19

The government will be offering free rapid COVID-19 test kits through their website beginning Jan 19.
Per federal law, health insurance companies must now pay for COVID test kits. Up to eight tests per individual, per month can be reimbursed to customers.
Those without insurance will soon have an opportunity to obtain free test kits directly from the government.
With the surge of the Omicron variant, the U.S. government has announced that it will begin supplying free rapid COVID test kits to families.
Four tests will be able to be ordered per household. There will be no shipping costs attached to orders.
