Free COVID-19 testing sites in Claiborne and Yazoo counties next week

Claiborne and Yazoo counties are among five COVID-19 testing sites that will be operational next week in Mississippi.

The one-day, drive-through sites will be performing free tests by appointment only from 9 a.m. through 4 p.m.

Patients must be pre-screened for COVID-19 symptoms and other information that may make them vulnerable to the virus. The easiest way to be screened is to use the free C-Spire Health app between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on your smart phone. If you don’t have a smartphone, call 601-496-7200.

Monday, April 20:

• Bolivar County — Delta State University’s Horace McCool Stadium, 1003 West Sunflower Road, Cleveland

Tuesday, April 21:

• Yazoo County — Wardell Leach Recreational Complex, 500 West 15th St., Yazoo City
• Montgomery County — Winona Recreation and Parks, 300 Recreation Park Drive, Winona

Wednesday, April 22:

• Perry County — Perry County Multi-Purpose Center, 1194 Highway 15, Richton
• Claiborne County — Claiborne County Parks and Recreation, 1120 U.S. Highway 61 North, Port Gibson
