Free eye exams are being offered to third graders who did not pass the state reading assessment.

The Mississippi Optometric Association (MOA) and the Mississippi Vision foundation (MVF) are joining together to provide these exams at no cost.

Those who are on private insurance may experience co-pays as required by law. Any cost not covered by insurance will be covered by the MVF.

To find a participating optometrist, visit www.msvisionfoundation.org or call 601-572-0845.

Please notify the representative the appointment will be a third grade eye appointment and be prepared to present the notification letter of their child not passing the reading assessment.
