Free Memorial Day concert at Vicksburg National Military Park tonight

The annual Memorial Day Weekend Concert, Symphony at Sunset, is set for Saturday, May 28, at  7 p.m. at Vicksburg National Military Park with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra.

This annual event is made possible in partnership with Four Seasons of the Arts. Gather together on hallowed ground to hear patriotic and pops music on the battlefield for Memorial Day Weekend.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and friends! This outdoor concert is free of charge and open to the public.

There will be a drop off and pick up zone for attendees at the VNMP Visitor Center, with offsite parking provided by Vicksburg Hampton Inn and Suites. Handicapped parking is available in the VNMP Visitor Center parking lot. Concert attendees are asked to drop off guests at the Visitor Center at the park, then cross the street to park at Vicksburg Hampton Inn and Suites, where designated parking will be available. Following the concert, guest may be picked up from the same area.
