Free vaccination and canned food drive to take place Nov. 13 at the Vicksburg Mall

A free drive-thru vaccination and canned food drive will take place Nov. 13 at the Vicksburg Mall (formally Pemberton Square Mall). Vaccinations will be administered from noon to 4 p.m. Vaccinations will be administered by HealthCare on the Go, LLC.

First and second dose vaccinations will be available for those age 12 and older who need one.  Boosters for all three vaccine products will be available. For Pfizer and Moderna it must be at least six months since the initial dose. For J&J, at least two months.If a second vaccine or booster is needed, please remember to bring your vaccination card.

Boosters are recommended for those who are 65 or older, 18-64 at high risk of severe Covid (immunocompromised), 18-64 with frequent institutional or occupational exposure (thinking working/living with Immunocompromised people)

The event will be located at the Vicksburg Mall’s northeast parking lot next to Belk at 3503 Pemberton Square.
