Funeral arrangements for Margaret Gilmer have been announced

The funeral arrangements for Margaret Gilmer have been announced.

Chairwoman of the Vicksburg-Warren Economic Development Foundation Margaret Gilmer died on Jan. 2 after a brief illness. Gilmer dedicated many years to serving Vicksburg and Warren County, previously serving as chairwoman to the Warren County Port Commission and the Warren County Chamber of Commerce.

A family member of Gilmer took to social media to announce the arrangements as follows:

Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 7 at the First Presbyterian Church of Vicksburg. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m., with interment to follow at Green Lawns Cemetery.
