On Dec. 3-4, G6:2, managed by Dorris and Randy Rippy, held their annual hunt where 19 hunters were able get outdoors and have a fun time.

WhiteTails Unlimited (WTU) donated all their proceeds from their banquet a few months ago to sponsor this event where over they got over 20 deer.

“I am so thankful for Whitetails Unlimited for allowing me to do my banquet annually to be able to donate all proceeds to this wonderful cause,” WTU President Melissa Reeves said. “It is a blessing that you will only understand by participating in. There are no words to describe the feeling, once you go once… you’re hooked, line and sinker.”

“My daughter and I have been doing this for six years and we do not plan on stopping any time soon. G6:2 stands for Galatians chapter 6 verse 2… ‘Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.’ We fulfilled this law of Christ over the course of the weekend hunt. God is good and he uses his people to help others and anyone who participated, donated, or volunteered was just that, an advocate for Christ our Lord and Savior.”

G6:2 is a nonprofit organization which allows people with disabilities to enjoy the outdoors and hunt in a Christian environment.
