Gallery: Dahlia’s Magical PreBirthday Prom event

Vicksburg Daily News was in attendance of Dahlia’s Magical PreBirthday Prom event. Many friends and family within the community showed out to celebrate with Dahlia Grissom.
Dahlia was diagnosed in 2020 with DIPG, or diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma. DIPG is an aggressive and difficult to treat type of brain tumor found in the brain stem that primarily affects children.
Vicksburg Daily News arrived ahead of the guest of honor and was among the first to greet her.
More guests arrived soon after and filled Every Occasion Venue with warm greetings and cheers, especially from Dahlia.
