Gary Jones improve to 9-0 on the year

Gary Jones improved to 9-0 on the year after picking up two wins earlier this week.

On Monday, GJ defeated Tarver Insurance 4-3 in a close game. They quickly went up 3-0 after a double from Raegan Thornell and an inside-the-park home run by Kyleigh Cooper.

Olivia brought in two runs for Tarver after an inside-the-park home run in the second inning.

Late in the game, Thornell would also get an inside-the-park home run to give GJ their fourth run of the night. Olivia got another double for Tarver to give them their final run but GJ would ultimately take the win.

Cooper struck out 10 batters for GJ and she also one hit along with Crawley Haller. Madilyn struck out six for Tarver.

Thornell and Olivia both went 2 for 2 at the plate.

On Tuesday, GJ won 12-2 against Cafe Paradiso.

They came away with five runs in the first inning starting with a double from Mageigh Haller and Sera along with a single from Crawley. A single from Cooper and RBI from Mageigh would eventually give them an 8-0 lead.

Late in the game, Thornell and Natalie Cantin would both get home runs in the big win.

CP would get their two runs from a triple by Emily Muirhead and a single from Annie Tucker.

Cooper struck out seven and only allowed one hit. She also went 3 for 3 with two RBIs.

Cantin, Thornell, and Crawley all had two hits while Coley, Cierra, Sera, and Mageigh(3 RBIs) all had one hit.
