Gas and water disconnections underway in Vicksburg

Published

on

The City of Vicksburg is reminding water and gas customers that disconnections are underway for unpaid bills from March, April and May of this year.

All utility customers in Mississippi were given a temporary reprieve from utility payments in March due to the COVID-19 crises. The statewide reprieve expired May 26.

Vicksburg ended its COVID-19 waivers for utility payments June 9.

The city warns that reconnecting may be delayed up to 48 hours once a utility is disconnected.
