Gas Leak Repaired – Merchants Return

Please stay out of the area!!! 6:35 – The gas has been turned off – Vicksburg Fire Department Engine 8 will remain on scene with the gas department. Also there is a wreck in front of Hinds on Hwy 27 with injuries.  Officials have been on the scene for about ten minutes. 6:39 – The gas department advised that the leak has been plugged – people will now be allowed to return to the buildings.
