Gators finished their best season in over a decade on Saturday
Vicksburg High School baseball finished their remarkable season on Saturday in a 14-4 loss to Ridgeland.
The Titans got the first score of the from a wild pitch in the first inning. They would find most of their success in the third inning as they quickly went up 7-1.
The Gators two would first get on the board after a double by Tyler Carter. Rashad McCroy would also get a triple in the loss as he went 2 for 2 with one RBI.
Although the Gators’ season was shortened, they still had plenty of success including winning the district title for the first time since 2009 under head coach Antonio Calvin.
