Make plans now to get to your polling place tomorrow.

Tuesday, Nov. 5, is election day across the state of Mississippi. On the ballot are several state-wide and local races that will determine leaders for the next several years. They include the race for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, state legislators, and commission seats.

In Warren County, all five districts have competitive races for supervisor seats, plus, your vote will determine the sheriff and county prosecuting attorney among others. These are the men and women who will make decisions about how your tax dollars are spent locally, whether the county is a safe place to raise your children and how the law will be enforced.

The Warren County Election Commission provided the county-wide sample ballot for Tuesday’s General Election.

The sample ballot contains all candidates in all races in the county. What you see on your ballot will depend on your precinct.

To see the ballot specific to your precinct, or if you’re not sure where your polling place is, go to www.sos.ms.gov/pollingplace. Type in your home address and your voting precinct and ballot information will appear.
