George Wayne Callen, 1944 – 2022

George Wayne Callen passed away on July 6 at his home.  He was 77.

George was born in Vicksburg, MS on Aug. 25, 1944, the son of William Torrance Callen and Katherine Etta Ludke Callen.  He worked as an Electrician for LeTourneau.  He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Freddy Callen and Bob Callen.

He is survived by his wife Jean Callen and his brother John Callen.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12 at Glenwood Funeral Home, with Father Dore officiating the service.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service.

Memorials may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church.
