HERE. The Sunday event, dubbed “The Courage to Love,” a decidedly Christian event, will be held in a Roman amphitheater in Caesarea, Isreal that was built more than 2,000 years ago. Beck will be joined by Pastor John Hagee, Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, esteemed historian David Barton, and other religious leaders. With the stories of Ruth and Esther at its foundation, the event, according to GlennBeck.com will inspire its audiences to display loyalty, courage and love as they stand up for Israel and the Jewish people. Scheduled to perform is Grammy nominated Vernessa Mitchell, who will be joined by Israeli singers and musicians to enhance this powerful event. Monday’s event, titled “The Courage to Remember,” will see people gather at the Old Train Station Plaza in central Jerusalem for an evening of remembrance and hope. With a focus on the Holocaust and the strength of its survivors, Glenn Beck will host the event, which will feature a screening of a documentary film that explores the life-long impact of the Holocaust on its victims. The film will be followed by a panel discussion. The program will conclude with a candle lighting ceremony during which a survivor’s family will pass a flame from generation to generation as they display the courage displayed in their past, and the courage to stand together for themselves and all future generations. On Tuesday, August 23rd, GBTV.com will broadcast a specially produced documentary. The documentary reportedly will be “behind-the-scenes” look at the planning of the Restoring Courage events. On Wednesday, August 24, 2011, Glenn Beck will host an event at the Davidson Center in Jerusalem entitled “The Courage to Stand.” Taking place just steps from the Western Wall and the Temple Mount, this program calls for unity among all faiths, and will honor Israelis who have displayed courage in their struggle for survival and peace. It will also issue a challenge to all citizens of the world to stand with and declare their support for Israel. Joining Glenn will be religious leaders, esteemed speakers and entertainers including the Rabbi of the Western Wall, Shumuel Rabinovitch, Academy Award winning actor Jon Voight, internationally renowned singer Dudu Fisher, and the Jerusalem Great Synagogue Choir. Beck claims that the “four-day Restoring Courage event is the beginning of a global movement.”  He says that the plans will be revealed at the final event on August 24th.  Those interested in watching the events can do so by viewing them on GBTV.com, Beck’s newest business venture, an online television network which is slated to begin new and original programming on September 12, 2011. On a personal note…. I encourage each and every one of you, no matter what your faith is, to watch this event.  Show your support for Israel by subscribing, if only for one month, to GBTV.com so you can view this historic event.  I join Kevin and Bethany Paige in asking “those of you who value freedom, honor and faith to stand with Glenn Beck and leaders from around the world with one united voice.  “Restoring Courage” is an opportunity to demonstrate to the world that Israel does not stand alone. Unite with people from around the world from all walks of life in standing with Israel, reminding us of the need to have faith, honor and courage in our own lives.” If you belong to a church or civic group that would like to host a viewing party, you can e-mail restoringcourage@glennbeck.com to receive a free one-week membership so that you can invite members of your group or congregation to view the event. I will be watching the event and will Stand with Israel… in America!!!]]]]> ]]>
