Goirl arrested, facing numerous charges in Madison Parish

Accused arsonist Lorenzo Goirl, 34, of Tallulah, has been booked into the Madison Parish Jail following his arrest by Monroe Police.

Goirl is accused of setting a Molotov cocktail device near the personal vehicle of a Madison Parish Deputies personal vehicle in the deputy’s driveway in the 1400 block of Louisiana Street on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.

Goirl faces charges of one count each of manufacture and possession of delayed action incendiary devices and terrorizing. This follows a joint investigation by the Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s office, Louisiana State Police and the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office.
