Golf Carts at Clear Creek vandalized

Vandals struck at the Clear Creek Golf Course during the early hours of Wednesday, July 1.

The criminals destroyed or damaged six golf carts, driving three into one of the lakes on the property. The three carts in the lake were determined to be total losses by the golf cart company. The other three are inoperable because of damage done to them including dashboards ripped out, wires pulled away, and fenders and bumpers dismantled. They may be repairable, but probably not before the upcoming holiday weekend.

The damage is so extensive that the vandals will be charged with a felony when caught. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an extensive investigation.
