Golfing for a good cause

The Vicksburg Country Club hosted a fundraiser golf tournament on Saturday to benefit Micah’s Mission, a faith-based learning center in Vicksburg.

Thirty-five golfers came out to compete in the 4-man scramble and support this valuable asset to our community.

“Students strive to learn who they are in this world God has provided for us. During their journey, we help them establish their foundation in faith, character trait, work ethic, academic and daily living skills with appropriate social skills,” said Emily Williams, Founder and Executive Director of Micah’s Mission. “Each student has their own path and pace. We guide our students towards being the best version of themselves they can be.”

The next fundraiser event for the school is a horse show that will be hosted in Crystal Springs.  The Vicksburg Daily News will bring you more information about this opportunity soon.  Or, interested parties can donate directly at michasmissionschool.org/donate.
