Governor closes all public schools through April 17

In a live Facebook event Thursday morning, Gov. Tate Reeves announced he will be closing all Mississippi public schools through Friday, April 17.

The closings are in response to federal and state health recommendations to limit the spread of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus.
