Governor Reeves speaks at Chamber Luncheon

Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves spoke at the Chamber Luncheon at the Convention Center.
A room of over 150 interested members and friends packed the upper room of the Vicksburg Convention Center to hear Governor Tate Reeves speak. The governor focused on economic development and his achievements in the prior four years as governor and the eight years prior to that as the Lt. Governor.
Also in attendance were State Senator Briggs Hopson, State Representative Kevin Ford, Mayor George Flaggs and other elected officials and community leaders.
“In the ten years before I became Governor, Mississippi averaged 900 million dollars a year in new capital investments. Not a bad record. About 900 million dollars a year. In 2022 alone we have over six billion dollars in investments across the state,” said Governor Reeves.
