GPS leaves 18-wheeler stuck at Fairground Street bridge

An experienced truck driver found himself in a predicament Wednesday when his GPS guided him to an impassable bridge.

Unfamiliar to the area, the driver was following his GPS to his destination, which is just on the other side of the viaduct bridge.

The truck became stuck at the corner of Pearl and Fairground Streets, however the driver was able to stop the vehicle before impacting the bridge itself.

There appears to be no damage to either the bridge or truck.  Vicksburg Police are on the scene to assist.
