Green selected to play in the Under Armour Baseball Factory Tournament

Vicksburg High School baseball player Chris Green has been selected to participate in the Under Armour Baseball Factory Tournament.

Green went to tryouts in Jackson and performed well enough to be selected out of numerous athletes. He will go on to play in the two tournaments that will be held in Omaha, Nebraska and Tampa, Florida, where he has a chance of making the All-American team and showcase his talents in front of multiple scouts.

Only a third of players in the country are selected for the tournament after evaluating their hitting, pitching, and fielding skills.

Green starred for VHS in the 2022 season where he helped the Gators to their first district title since 2009. He brought led VHS to many victories while leading on the mound and at bat.
