An afternoon thunderstorm in Warren County has felled numerous trees and taken out power for 3000 residents.

The storm started with a significant amount of lightning followed by high winds and hail. One report said the hail was over an inch in size.

Most of the power outages are off of Lee Road due to a large line falling in the 4000 block of Lee Road. Those lines initially trapped people in a vehicle and a nearby church. Everyone is out now and safe with no injuries reported.
