Hannah Branch is not scared of adventure

This is a part of a series on local students who graduated in the Top 10 of their senior classes and the plans these bright youths have for the future. 

18-year-old Hannah Branch was not only an honor graduate at River City Early College who placed 8th overall, she graduated with an Associate’s Degree.

She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the National Honor Society, and the National English Honor Society.

While at RCEC, she was one of three delegates who attended the Vivian Burey Marshall Leadership convention in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She also attended a leadership conference in Washington, DC.

Hannah was integral with the student council’s fundraiser that bought ballistics best for the WCSO’s K-9 unit. Hannah also delivered fruit baskets to residents of The Bluffs Rehabilitation and Health are Center.

Hannah spends time working at Sports Force Park and doing community service. She has volunteered with Vicksburg’s annual chili cook-off for children and with the Woodmen of the World booth at the Over the River Run.

She is also very active as a volunteer firefighter with the Fisher Ferry fire department.

Hannah was awarded scholarships to Mississippi College, where she will be attending in the fall. She is majoring in Administration of Justice, and plans on being a Crime Scene Investigator.
