Vicksburg church hosts 2nd free vaccination drive

The Leaders at Greater Grove Street Missionary Baptist Church are set to host its second community vaccination drive. The event will take place at 2715 Alcorn Drive.

People in the community can get their first, second, and booster shot. Pfizer and Moderna shots will be available. Those shots will start Sunday morning at 10 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. Those who are ages 12 years and older are welcomed. Anyone under 18 years of age must accompanied by a consenting adult.

The church is operating in partnership with several local organizations including the MS Department of Health, Choices for Children, LLC, City of Vickburg COVID-19 Health Literacy Project, Vicksburg Ministerial Alliance, and Higher purpose Community Development, Inc.
