Harrison County authorities hope to identify a man through his tattoos
Authorities are attempting to identify a man found dead Oct. 3 by releasing descriptions of his tattoos.
WLOX reports that the man’s body was found floating in the water near Deer Island off the coast of Biloxi, Miss. His body has several distinctive tattoos. Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer said the death is being investigated as suspicious as the cause of death has not been determined.
The man is described as white with short dark hair, potentially between 30 and 45 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall, and weighing between 220 and 250 pounds.
Descriptions of the tattoos are as follows (images have not been released):
- A scorpion on his right shoulder blade
- A Viking on his left shoulder blade
- “Brendan” on the back of his right arm
- His right inner forearm has two tattoos: an elephant and a clown face with the words “cry now”
- On his left inner arm is another clown face with the words “laugh later”
- He has a tribal tattoo on the left upper arm.
- On his chest is a tattoo of a ribbon with “11-12-11”.
- The name “Davianna” is tattooed along his left side.
- Some symbols of an unknown language are tattooed on his left calf.
