Hayden Embry joins Lady Bulldogs softball coaching staff

Philadelphia native Hayden Embry has been named assistant coach for the Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs softball team.
The Neshoba Central High School graduate joins the Lady Bulldogs after working one year for Oxford High School, where he was the TV Broadcast and Production Teacher and the Athletic Live Stream Coordinator. He also was a volunteer coach for the softball team there.
At Neshoba Central, he was named the Master Chief Tim Chestnut Class of 2018 Student of the Year. After Neshoba Central, he attended Itawamba Community College and received an associate of arts degree in graphic design. He was also named the 2019-2020 Quality Enhancement Plan Student Athlete of the Year and was on the dean’s list for two years, MACJC Academic All-State and a member of the NJCAA All-Academic Team.
At Itawamba, he was a member of the tennis team for two seasons. In 2019, he was a Region 23 semifinalist in singles and doubles and a 2019 ITA Consolation Finalist. His 2020 season was cut short due to COVID-19.
After Itawamba, he attended the University of Mississippi, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications with a specialization in Computer Language and a minor in General Business.
