Hearing with LD’s owner over closure postponed

Mayor George Flaggs Jr. announced Friday morning that the hearing that was to take place with the owner of LD’s Kitchen has been continued to a later date.

The hearing was scheduled to take place during executive session with the Board of Mayor and Aldermen Monday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m. in the Robert M. Walker Building Board Room. The mayor’s office did not provide another date.

LD’s Bar and Lounge will remain shut down following Tuesday’s shooting incident that injured three people. The restaurant is not affected by the shutdown.
