Helen M. Hays, 1947 – 2020

Mrs. Helen M. Hays passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020. She was 73 years old.

Helen was born in Cary, Mississippi. She had lived in Iuka, Mississippi, Pascagoula, Mississippi, and Mayersville, Mississippi. She worked in sales for Electrolux Vacuum Cleaners. She was an avid hunter and gardener and loved flowers. She was a very charitable person. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Hays Jr., in 2019.

She is survived by son, Robert Lee Hays, III; brother, Julies Mink; sister, Sunshine Kathy Mink; and two grandsons, Robert “Robbie” Hays IV, and Kris Hays.

Services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Cary Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Sanders officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Mounds Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Hays, III, Robbie Hays, Kris Hays, George Martin, Dr. Andy George, Chris VanNorman, Bobby Brown and Andrew John George.
