The inclement weather we were warned about is here.

Vicksburg Police Officers are beginning to report significant rainfall activity on Highway 61 South as the storm moves into our area. Officials advised moving into an interior room on the lowest floor.

Radar indicates that the current band of activity is tracking in a northeastern pattern. The National Weather Service has also issued several tornado warnings in the past half hour for parishes in northern Louisiana.

Monroe, Quachita Parish, already is reporting 15,000 without power. They are also under a Tornado Warning.
