The Hinds Community College Eagles baseball program received recognition from the National Junior College Athletic Association, Perfect Game and the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper as they released their preseason rankings on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

All three publications ranked the Eagles among the 20 best programs in the nation. The NJCAA ranked them 17th, Perfect Game 15th and Collegiate Baseball Newspaper ranked them 20th.

In the NJCAA poll, the Eagles are one of five teams in Mississippi ranked in the top 20.

In the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Poll, the Eagles are one of three teams ranked in the top 20.

In the Perfect Game Poll, the Eagles are the only team in Mississippi that is ranked. In fact, the Eagles are the first NJCAA DII team that is ranked in this poll that ranks the top 25 junior colleges regardless of division.
