Hinds County man who fathered child with 16-year-old faces 30 years

A Hinds County man is facing a sentence of 30 years after fathering a child with a 16-year-old.

According to a report by WLBT, Donald Quinn engaged in sexual relations with a 16-year-old in 2016. Quinn was 44 at the time.

In 2021, Quinn was convicted of sexual battery of a minor. He faces a maximum sentence of 30 years and will be required to register as a sex offender.

Quinn is currently held by the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office until he is sentenced on July 21.
