Historic Theater to Open Doors Tonight
]]>
The Strand Theater comes alive tonight with the debut performance of “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.” The Westside Theatre Foundation’s production of the hit musical that ran on Broadway for nine years will begin promptly at 7:30. Audience members are asked to get there at least 30 minutes early, in order to get a good seat and to ensure an uninterrupted performance. There will be a small reception in the lobby of the historic theater beginning at 6 pm. The public is invited. Hors d’oeuvres, provided by Candace Palmertree, will be served. There will also be a cash bar at the event, also provided by Ms. Palmertree. The play features four actors who will portray many different characters and will showcase relationships in all stages. The players are Christina Bradway, Jennifer Adams, Rusty Gardner and John Tinsley. We’ve had the opportunity to sit in on some rehearsals of the play and can promise that you’ll be thoroughly entertained! The curtain will rise on six performances which are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, this weekend and next, and each performance will begin at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by phone at 601-618-9349 or at the theater box office.]]]]> ]]>
