Holmes CC cancels classes after man with gun report

WLBT.COM) – Classes have been cancelled today at the Holmes Community College Ridgeland Campus, following a report of a man with a gun. Ridgeland Police Chief Jimmy Houston says a call came into the police department around 10:15 this morning that a man had a gun in his waste band in the campus building. Police along with campus security responded and locked down the campus. No shots were fired and there are no injuries. Shortly after eleven, school officials decided to cancel class for the rest of the day, but police will continue their search.]]]]> ]]>
