Horse Rescue asking public for information on horse injured in Vicksburg

A horse was taken into care by after supposedly being hit by a car in Warren County.
According to a Facebook post by the organization, they were alerted to a horse down in Vicksburg on Saturday night.
The owner surrendered the horse and was transported to a vet clinic. The initial prognosis did not look good for the horse due to infection.
Mississippi Horse Rescue is asking that anyone that knows what really happened to reach out to their organization.
