I-20 traffic seeing significant backup

Due to an overturned 18-wheeler at the Clay Street onramp to I-20 westbound, traffic has been significantly impacted.

An 18-wheeler overturned at the onramp to I-20 west from Clay Street at the interstate merging point earlier on Friday.

The access ramp at this location has been closed while crews work to clear the scene of the wreckage.

The traffic is estimated to be backed up for three miles. An estimate of when the wreckage is not known at this time.
