I-20 westbound Vicksburg bridge closure scheduled

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning Monday, May 10, 2021, the westbound outside lane of I-20 on the Mississippi River Bridge will be closed at approximately 8 a.m. and will remain closed until Saturday, May 15, 2021 at approximately 4 p.m.

This closure is required to perform routine bridge inspection.

Restrictions/Permits:

Monday – Thursday: 12 foot maximum width.

Friday: 16 foot maximum width

Saturday: 12 foot maximum width

This work will be performed weather permitting.
