Iowa Boulevard closed due to accident – VIDEO

A 2020 Hyundai Veloster struck a utility pole while heading east on Iowa Boulevard. The force of impact spun the car around, inflicting significant damage to nearly all sides of the vehicle.

The driver managed to limp the vehicle to the parking lot of Walmart, where he was eventually detained by Vicksburg police after being treated for minor injuries by Fire Medic 80.
Entergy is currently on the scene to assess damage to the pole.
