Jackknifed 18-wheeler affecting traffic on I-20

A jackknifed 18-wheeler is causing traffic congestion along Interstate 20 westbound near Indiana Avenue.

Vicksburg Fire Chief Craig Danczyk is on the scene along with multiple patrol units.

Early reports indicate a rupture of the diesel tank occurred and fuel made its way into the storm drains, despite efforts to contain it.

Traffic is flowing but slowly.

No injuries have been reported.
