Jackson State wins in front of a crowd of over 50,000

Jackson State University celebrated homecoming on Saturday in front of a big crowd where where 53,578 fans were in attendance to watch the Tigers defeat Alabama State.

JSU won the hard fought game 28-7, led by Shedeur Sanders who threw two touchdowns and 201 yards. Keith Corbin led the team in receiving with seven catches, 113 yards, and one touchdown.

The Tigers had 350 yards of total offense as they improve to 5-1 on the season and 3-0 in the SWAC East. JSU will face Bethune-Cookman on Saturday.
