James Friley arrested for stolen F-150
A Vicksburg man, James Carl Friley, 33, was arrested for being in possession of a stolen vehicle.
Sheriff Martin Pace reports, “Uniform patrol deputies making routine patrol last night at the Letourneau landing area ran the tag of a vehicle that came back as a stolen vehicle. There was no one in the vehicle.” The deputy drove to a secluded spot and observed the vehicle for a while. Friley, “Came back to the vehicle, he was arrested for receiving stolen property. This was a 1997 Ford F-150 that had been stolen off of the Gibson road area several days ago. Friley or someone had made a failed attempt at spray painting it black so it changed the look of it a little bit.”
Friley was charged with receiving stolen property, a stolen vehicle. Judge James Jefferson set bail at $10,000.
